Core Dance Academy is a dance school specialising in dance classes for kids ranging from 18 months to 18 years.
What classes do you offer?
We offer Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Street Jazz, Musical Theatre & 'Mums & Tots'.
What curriculum do you follow?
Core Dance Academy follows the ISTD (Imperial Society Teachers of Dance) curriculum for Ballet & Contemporary. There is still no exam structure for our new age dance styles such as Hip Hop and Street Jazz
Who runs the dance school?
Core Dance Academy is run by ISTD qualified dance teacher, Michelle Edwards
What is the payment structure?
Core Dance Academy is run on a termly payment structure where 650dhs is paid up front in advance.
How long is the term?
A term is 12 weeks with one session each week
Can I attend more than one class a week?
One class a week for 12 weeks is 650dhs. Classes a week is 1000dhs & 3 classes a week is 1500dhs.
Is there a refund on classes I don't attend?
There is a no refund policy for Core Dance Academy
How old should I be in order to join the dance school?
Core Dance Academy run classes for children aged 18 months through to 18 years. Adult classes are timetabled based on demand.
Do you run exams?
We run ISTD exams once a year for the dance academy, usually at the end of the year.
Do I have to buy dance uniforms?
Ballet and Contemporary classes, uniform is compulsory, although uniform is not compulsory in any of our other classes
Where can I purchase my dance uniforms?
Do you run dance shows?
We run an annual performance once a year which we invite all friends and family to attend.
